Had the wonderful opportunity to moderate a Q&A with prolific Canadian historical (and fantasy) author C.C. (Chris) Humphreys last week, September 15, at Creative Academy meet-up.
Chris is not only a very productive writer, he is also an actor, swordsman and voice-over narrator (more about Chris can be found on his website here). I took a weekend writing workshop with him a few years ago and was soon hooked by his Jack Absolute series (recently re-released), followed by The French Executioner (his first novel), Plague, and many more.
Chris answered all the questions with his usual interesting segues and tangents, and shared that he is currently working on his 22nd novel about his parents – his father the RAF pilot and his mother the spy. Need I say more? Looking forward for this novel to be released in the spring of 2023.
A recording of the Q&A session can be found on the Creative Academy website here.
